1. Terms & Conditions:

Before booking a trip with Crystal Himalaya Treks & Expedition, it is necessary to read our booking terms and conditions. This refers to the binding agreement between both parties. For both of our sakes, our policies must be understood before booking a trip. The following points are our policies and rules that you must agree to regarding payment, risk management, cancellation policy, etc. Please read below. 

2. Booking and Payment:

To book a trip, we require a photocopy of your passport (if you are a foreign client). For domestic clients, we require valid ID proof. Additionally, we require a 30% advance from you so that we can book your hotels and begin the permit process. After this is done, we send you a confirmation email. By accepting this confirmation email, your trip is booked.

3. Any service/transfer charge for paying via bank transfer or PayPal must be paid by the client at the time of the transfer.  

4. The remaining trip balance may be paid before one week from the trip departure. It is preferred to pay earlier than later. We reserve the right to cancel your trip in the full amount is not paid on time.

5. Client Trip Cancellation: 

If you decide to cancel the trip prior to its departure date, 30% of the booking payment will not be refunded. This is because we have already booked hotels, guest houses, and acquired your permits. If the client is not able to do the trip because of their own problem, we are not held responsible.

6. Company Trip Cancellation: 

Crystal Himalaya Treks & Expedition reserves the right to cancel any trip in the case that any unpreventable, unforeseen circumstance happens (i.e. natural disaster, strike, etc.). If this happens, we provide a full refund. If both parties (our company and the client) canreschedule for a later date, we will do that.

7. Passport and visa: 

Clients from outside Nepal must have a valid passport and a Nepal visa (which can be acquired upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport). Domestic clients must have a valid form of ID before booking a trip.

8. Risk & Liabilities:

It is our utmost priority to keep you safe and securing while travelling with us. We understand that trekking in the grand Himalayas is a once in a lifetime experience and we strive to make your experience comfortable and enjoyable. Enjoy it to the fullest potential! Through our years of experience, we have sharpened our skills and knowledge, constantly improving how we carry out trips. Understanding that trekking in the high mountain regions has inherent risks, we work to minimize these. All our itineraries include acclimatization days where needed, and involve an overall slow ascent while in high altitude areas. Each guide has medical kits with him/her always. With this in mind, Crystal Himalaya Treks & Expedition is not responsible for injuries on the trail, though we will do our very best to prevent them from happening. In the case of injury, our trained guides will treat the injury as best we can.

9. Travel Insurance: 

Travel insurance is recommended for all clients. Before the start of the trip, the client should arrange his/her insurance with a reputable insurance company. Be sure that the insurance policy covers incidents abroad. It should also cover personal injury, medical expensive, and lost/stolen property. If our client becomes ill or injured, it is his/her responsibility to manage the hospitable bill and the company is not responsible for any refund of the trip.

10. Health and fitness:

All treks into the Himalayas require some degree of fitness. It is recommended to consult with your doctor before booking a trip and let us know if you have any preexisting health conditions that might affect your adventure. Let us know beforehand if you have any preexisting condition.

11. Personal loss or damage: 

Crystal Himalaya Treks & Expedition is not responsible for any loss or damage of property. It is the client’s responsibility to take care of their personal belongings.
